Dr. Keller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) and has been designated “qualified dentist” by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). He has extensive training and experience in the field of dental sleep medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Keller was awarded a Master of Science (MS) from USC in Orofacial Pain and oral medicine which included extensive training in Dental Sleep Medicine. He holds a faculty position at USC and is active in various scientific committees in sleep medicine.
YOUR VISIT
Your first visit with Dr. Keller will be a comprehensive one. He will get to know you, your concerns and your goals. Please allow for a good hour for this visit. Together, we will review your medical and sleep history followed by a detailed exam of your mouth and throat as well as your TMJ and related muscles and nerves.
Dr. Keller will review with you his findings and a customized treatment plan will be generated that will be presented to you and communicated with your physician. A step by step road map will be generated to get you from our current status to the final destination of improved sleep and health.
The treatment we offer for sleep apnea and snoring include oral appliance therapy in combination with positional therapy, sleep hygiene, thermal therapy, respiratory training and pharmacological intervention when appropriate. Based on your specific circumstances, if appliance therapy is recommended, an appliance will be custom designed to achieve effective solutions for your unique condition.
